Micromount (approximately  0,1 x 0,05 inch) - Guimarãesite is a newly recognized Zn-dominat member of the roscherite-group - group of complex monoclinic or triclinic phosphates.
Guimarãesite occurs in the granite pegmatite near the Piauí river, Itinga, Minas Gerais.

It is a newly recognized Zn-dominat member of the roscherite- and approved in 2006 by the International Mineralogy Association (IMA) as a valid species.
