This rare fluorescent mineral  from the Ilímaussaq Complex, South Greenland, glows cherry-red, under Short Wave (SW) UV light and more or less weaker orange under long wave (LW) UV light. Measures approximately 60x50x35 mm and weighs approximately 0,130 kilogramme.

Tugtupite, Ussingite, Ilímaussaq complex, south Greenland. Over 250 minerals have been identified from this unique complex, the most famous is tugtupite. Tugtupite was found in 1957, at Tugtup Agtakôrfia along the north shore of the Tunuljarfik fjord.
