Specimen from the abandoned large open-pit sulphur mine in the volcanic Calimani mountains.
Sulfur from Călimani open pit is very rarely offered for sale.
The Sulphur crust is about 2 mm to 5-6 mm maximum thick. No crystals.
Measures approximately 110x70x60mm and weighs approximately 0,825 kilogramme.


The mine started in 1969 and was closed in 1992-1995.
