This big  beautiful natural citrine crystal was found in Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaïre). Measures 100x55x55 mm and weighs 0,390 kilogramme.
Citrine is the yellow to brownish-red variety of the mineral Quartz. It is a widely used as a gemstone.
Natural Citrine, which is rare, is yellow to orange-yellow, and occurs in much lighter hues than the heat-treated purple Amethyst, which is dark orange-brown. Natural light yellow Citrine is often called "Lemon Quartz" on the gemstone market.
