Several attractive, sharp hexagonal Ruby crystals up to 45 mm long  in migmatite.
Rarely do you find such a sharp, uniform hexagonal prism. Very strong red fluorescence.
The specimen measures approximately 120x110x65 mm and weighs approximately 1,6 kilogramme.

Chromium is the trace element that causes ruby’s red. The strength of ruby’s red depends on how much chromium is present. It also causes the red fluorescence, the more chromium, the stronger the red color.
