From the Kamariza mines (Kamareza mines), Agios Konstantinos (Kamariza), Lavrion mining district, Lavreotiki, East Attica, Attica, Greece.
This specimen measures approximately  130x90x75 mm and weighs approximately 0,640  kilogramme.

On all sides small deeply colored azurite crystals, malachite spheres, aurichalcite and other minerals, in cavities, and on and between limonite layers.
This is a great piece to view with a magnifying glass or any other magnifying tool like a microscope.
The area was mined since ancient times; the Lavrion mines were the main source of wealth for the city of Athens during the classical times.
They were abandoned during Roman times and reopened in 1865. All mining activities stopped in 1984.
