Top; a very attractive piece with a few mm thick crust of orange-yellow siderite that just not everywhere covers the black matrix of zinc ore (marmatite; an opaque black iron-rich variety of sphalerite).
On top of that clusters of intergrown calcite crystals. A truly bizarre piece.
Measures approximately 150x130x45 mm and weighs approximately 1,250 kilogramme.
