Large and perfectly crystallized pegmatite specimen with te minerals stilbite, chamosite and laumontite on microcline from the Strzegom II quarry (Strzegom 18 quarry), Strzegom, Lower Silesian, Poland.
This fantastic piece measures approx. 140x130x50 mm; weight about  0,7 kilogramme.

This piece was recovered in 2018 and was one of the absolute top pieces of this find year, the quarry is now unfortunately closed!

Very large sharp-edged microcline crystals (a feldspar mineral) are sugar-coated by countless perfect greenish-brown stilbit crystals (stilbit was formerly known as desmin), other companions are dark collard, green to black, crystallized chamosite (formerly also called strigovite) and colorless to white  laumontite, which is also a very rich and high-contrast paragenesis.
This showcase / museum level specimen from a really classic location should not be missing in any collection.
